Damballa is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Sales Executive with IT Security experience to join our fast growing team.
The Damballa Senior Sales Executive plays a critical role in penetrating prospect target accounts for new business as well as establishing and working with partners in the territory. The position is responsible for driving sales activities within the target Major Accounts and utilizing an ecosystem of resources to exceed revenue goals.
Present Damballa’s vision, strategy, and market importance to executives and technical stakeholders.
Achieve or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
Generate and qualify Fortune 1000 enterprise business opportunities and manage the sales process through to close of the sale.
Develop an overall account strategy leading to the deployment of a well-executed team selling effort into the assigned accounts. Ecosystem includes inside sales, sales engineering, product management, corporate management and channel partners.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Consistently meets and exceeds annual and quarterly quota obtainment.
Demonstrated ability to sell large enterprise deals to Fortune 1000 Major Accounts.
Utilize professional networks, relationships within customers, and other industry players to create new opportunities.
Qualify opportunities to ensure greatest return on time and resource investment across target accounts.
Excellent presentation skills to C-level, CIO, CISO & Technical Audiences.
A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the sales cycle.
Minimum 5 years sales experience selling to Fortune 1000 Major Accounts.
Minimum 5 years selling enterprise network security products and services.
Ability to be a Leader in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
